Thanks, hope to hear what OP decides! My thoughts are outside looking in, I'm sure S/S2 owners love their watches more unequivocally

As for the brand growing? Well, Porsche might not be here today if they didn't sell oodles of SUVs so if Calce needs to move a crap ton of Convexe watches to keep GF afloat best of luck to him. I do think buyers have to have their eyes open though of the

My first bespoke watch - Garrick S4

The Garrick S4 is a recent and significant addition for me as it is my first bespoke watch and is also from an independent brand which I am a fan of. Garrick Watchmakers has been on my radar for a few years. I really like that they are a champion for old

I love the design but they are asking all the money and more for it. For me just too many other great options for a fraction of the price

The new LF Sport Auto or Romain Gauthier Continuum are maybe $50k? Sports watch from Voutilainen or De Bethune around $90k give or take. The finishing may well be far superior to all of these less expensive options so that's a consideration but with most

Together and alone.

By itself, then together... Not the best light in the last pic-- the series 1 has more patina, and is a lovely champagne, while the series 3 is pretty white....

Early 3970

On the 2 sub dials, the one on the left the top hand seems corroded, probably because the 2 hands are made of different metals. The one on the right will eventually become corroded too, not sure if this is a common problem with this series 3. The price is

Hublot 2016 Novelty Series #3 - Big Bang One Click 39mm

Here are something new - one click strap change enabled for lady's line. What is "One Click"? It's the strap change system - one button push, strap detached and another one attached in two seconds. The system has been in use for men's Hublot for some year

Since it's SalonQP...I go with a Roger Smith and a Peter Speake Marin.

And congrats especially to Roger for the successful launch of the Series 4. I can't wait to land my hands on one. Seen here my Roger Smith Series 3 set against the Singapore Flyer and Formula One pit building in the background, and my trusty Peter Speake

Not having seen Les Metiers d'Art in person, but knowing the Explorers and Mercator

lines very, very well, my personal preference would be 1) the Exlorers 2) this series 3) Mercator But, based upon the excellent pics (thanks, Alex!) I personally see all three as being very different, and I would not consider it redundant to own all three
